Station No. 5 was born from a need we couldn’t ignore. In Southern Missouri, most wellness options fall into one of two categories: busy salons or quick-service treatments. But neither offered true restoration—calm, focused care designed to relieve tension and support scalp health in a peaceful setting. Inspired by upscale spa culture and thoughtful ritual design, Station No. 5 was created to bring something different to our community. We chose a historic downtown building for its character and quiet charm, then designed every detail with comfort and relaxation in mind. From the warm water therapy to the intentional pacing of each service, everything here is built to help you exhale, reset, and leave feeling restored.

Why is it called “Station No. 5”?
Station No. 5 was named to represent a destination—an intentional place to arrive, pause, and reset. Just as a station marks a stop along a journey, our space was created to be a stopping point from the pace of everyday life. Located in historic downtown West Plains, the name reflects both our setting and our purpose: a place to step in, slow down, and leave feeling restored.
Do you offer haircuts or coloring?
While we provide scalp treatments and blowout finishing services, Station No. 5 is a spa specializing in luxury head spa rituals and advanced facial treatments. We do not offer traditional haircut or coloring services.
How did the concept originate?
Inspired by Korean head spa rituals and a belief that relaxation should be intentional, Station No. 5 was created to introduce a dedicated head spa experience to Southern Missouri. The goal was simple: offer structured, high-quality care in a setting designed for true restoration.
